## Make the link expected

Explain what the link opens and why it helps with the current conversation. When someone asks for a booking page or document, send that resource with a short description. If you are introducing your business, establish the context before asking someone to visit an unfamiliar site.

After someone asks to book

> Here’s the appointment page we discussed: https://example.com/book. Choose a time that works for you, and reply here if you need help.

## Check the destination before sending

1. Open the exact link on a phone and confirm it reaches the intended page.
2. Check that the page identifies your business and explains the next step.
3. Remove accidental draft, admin, or internal-only links.
4. If the page needs a login, explain that before the recipient opens it.
5. Check that the link is still valid when a scheduled follow-up is due.

**Keep in mind**

The example.com address above is a placeholder. Replace it with your own verified destination.

## Give the recipient a clear choice

Prefer a recognizable business domain and a direct destination. A message with several competing links makes it harder to know which action matters. Keep sensitive access links out of group conversations or templates intended for multiple people.

A preview is a convenience, not a delivery receipt. The appearance of a link card depends on the destination and receiving device. Keep your explanation useful even if no preview appears.

## If a recipient cannot open it

Ask what happens when they open the link, then check the destination’s permissions and availability. Offer the next step in the conversation if possible. Repeatedly sending the same broken link does not resolve a website or sign-in problem.
