Add, import, and sync contacts

Name a recipient or import a spreadsheet into the right project or workspace address book.

Add a single contact

Saving an existing handle can update its name. Adding a contact does not send a message, consume a new-contact sending slot, or merge a phone number with an email address.

  1. Select your project and open Contacts, then choose Add a contact.
  2. Enter the phone number or iMessage email in Handle and enter the person’s Name.
  3. Choose the available address-book scope: the organization or selected projects. Check who will see the name before saving.
  4. If a sending-number choice is shown, keep Auto to preserve an existing assignment or choose a specific project number.
  5. Save and read the confirmation, including any Apple Contacts sync result.

Import a simple two-column list

  1. Choose Import in Contacts. Paste a list or select a CSV file.
  2. Use two columns: a phone number or email, and a name. The importer accepts either order and comma, tab, or semicolon separators.
  3. Check the destination workspace and projects. Review the preview’s names, handles, and count before continuing.
  4. Correct incomplete rows before import; rows missing a name or handle are skipped.
  5. Choose Import and inspect the saved count, any skipped-row reasons, and sync status.

Saving and syncing are separate results

A contact can be saved in Miss Blue while its name is still syncing to Apple Contacts. Larger imports can finish that sync in the background. A sync warning is not a reason to repeatedly import the entire file.

Check the contact’s sync status and the availability of the affected line. If a saved name does not appear in a conversation, compare the exact phone or email handle and the selected project. Share the sync error with support if it persists.
