Block a contact
- Select the organization and project that owns the conversation, then open Contacts.
- Find the intended contact and check the phone number or email address carefully.
- Choose Block and read the confirmation describing the organization-wide effect.
- Confirm the block. Tell teammates managing an external CRM or sequence to update that workflow too.
What a block does
Miss Blue rejects new outbound messaging to the blocked handle, including sends from integrations. Queued sends are checked before dispatch. Incoming messages from the blocked handle are suppressed before they reach member conversations, webhooks, or automated responders.
Existing conversation history remains available. A message already dispatched cannot be recalled by blocking the recipient. Blocking does not stop phone calls or prevent delivery to the underlying Apple account outside Miss Blue.
Check every address the person uses
A block applies to the phone number or email handle recorded for the contact. Miss Blue does not automatically infer that a separate email address and phone number belong to the same person. If you need to stop messaging both, check and block both handles.
For a private address-book contact, make sure you are acting in the intended organization. The organization is the scope of the messaging restriction.
Unblock when messaging should resume
- Find the blocked contact in Contacts.
- Choose Unblock and confirm the change.
- Review any external sequences before enabling further outreach. Unblocking in Miss Blue does not update a CRM’s preferences.
