Manage dedicated-number billing and plan changes

Check paid capacity, renewal quantities, and what happens when you reduce or cancel a plan.

Check the workspace before changing its plan

Workspace admins manage Billing. The plan covers dedicated-number capacity across the workspace’s projects, even if you opened Billing from one project.

A paid slot, a number in setup, and a live line are different states. Check the dashboard’s capacity and setup information before purchasing another number because a requested line is not visible yet.

Add a dedicated number

Use Add a dedicated number and complete checkout. Once payment is verified, submit the setup details for each new number. A payment still processing must clear before the capacity becomes available for setup.

Use the amount and renewal details shown in checkout and Billing as the record for your plan. Do not treat a setup request as a second purchase or an immediate line activation.

Understand a downgrade before confirming

Billing separates the current paid period from the next renewal. A downgrade takes effect at renewal; it does not refund the current period. Check the future number quantity and effective date carefully.

Only one plan change can be open at a time. An outstanding downgrade can prevent another capacity purchase until that change is resolved. Ask support if you need help coordinating a change across several projects.

Cancelling every dedicated number

Reducing the plan to zero is a full cancellation and requires explicit confirmation. After the paid period ends, numbers may be released and conversations or related data may not be recoverable.

Before confirming, preserve records you need and contact support if keeping a particular number matters. Do not assume a later purchase will restore the same number.
