Dedicated numbers and billing

A dedicated number is one business phone number reserved for your organization. Billing follows the number of dedicated numbers on the plan, while projects decide which teams, conversations, and integrations use them.

Dedicated number

One business phone number with its own iMessage identity. When it is live, it belongs to a project and can send and receive conversations there.

Organization capacity

The total number of dedicated numbers the organization pays for across all projects. Some may be live, in setup, or still available to request.

Available to request

Paid capacity that is not attached to a live number or an existing setup request. It can be used by any project in the organization.

Organization admin

Only organization admins can view charges, add dedicated numbers, or request a downgrade. Project members can use the numbers granted to their projects.

From purchase to a live number

  1. 1. Add dedicated numbers. Checkout increases the organization’s paid capacity.
  2. 2. Request each number. Choose the project and give Miss Blue the setup details. An available dedicated number is reserved as soon as the request is submitted.
  3. 3. Setup begins. The dashboard counts the request as “In setup” while staff provisions the line.
  4. 4. The number goes live. It then appears under the project’s Numbers page and can be used by that project’s members and API keys.

Current period and next renewal

The Billing page separates what is active in the period already paid for from what will renew next. Adding dedicated numbers starts a new checkout. A downgrade does not refund the current period: existing service continues until the paid-through date, and the lower quantity and charge apply at renewal.

Only one plan change can be open at a time. While a downgrade is pending, Miss Blue blocks another capacity purchase so two subscription changes cannot leave billing and active numbers out of sync.

Cancelling every dedicated number

Reducing the plan to zero is a full cancellation. The dashboard requires an explicit confirmation because the phone numbers may be released and their conversations and related data may not be recoverable after the paid period ends. Export anything you need and contact support before cancelling if number retention matters.

Where to manage this

Sign in, choose a project, then open Billing. The selected project gives checkout a place to return, but the plan and charge belong to the whole organization.
