Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot calls, microphone access, and missing audio

Check the calling mode, device permissions, and recording state before retrying a call.

If a call cannot start

A regular phone call and FaceTime Audio use different calling paths. Incoming phone forwarding is also separate from the browser’s audio connection.

  • Confirm the project, recipient, and sending number.
  • Choose Phone call for a dialable phone number; an iMessage email is not a phone destination.
  • Read any unavailable-feature or offline reason shown beside the calling option.
  • If the line uses the optional ring-your-phone mode, check your callback phone in Settings and answer that first leg.
  • If a call may already have started, inspect the active call and history before dialing again.

If the call connects but audio is missing

For an incoming FaceTime Audio call, a teammate may already have answered it. Only one member handles that call; do not assume a missing Answer option is a microphone problem.

  1. Confirm microphone permission for Miss Blue in the browser’s site settings.
  2. Check that the browser and operating system allow microphone use.
  3. Check the selected microphone and speaker, device volume, mute controls, and any disconnected Bluetooth headset.
  4. Keep the calling tab open and avoid closing or refreshing it during an active call.
  5. After ending the failed call, make one agreed test call to confirm audio in both directions.

If the recording is missing

Check whether recording was enabled for that number before the call. After hangup, give the recording time to finish and read its status. Answered does not guarantee a completed capture.

If a call stays Dialing after it ended, shows Capture failed, or has repeated audio problems, give support the call ID, call type, line, timestamp with timezone, and browser. Do not place repeated customer calls just to reproduce the issue.
