A conversation, not a blast
Everybody receives it as an ordinary message from your line and can reply to it. Replies land in the same shared inbox as everything else.
New hours, a closure, a date that moved. Send it to everybody who needs to know, from your own line, and let them reply to it like a person.
A group text tells four hundred customers about each other. A broadcast number tells them they are being marketed at. An announcement is the same message arriving in each person’s own thread from a number they recognise — and when they answer, somebody is there.
What sending it would actually do, shown before anybody does it.
People you have already been messaging.217 spread over 5 daysFirst contacts, paced so the line stays healthy. 9 not messaged — they asked to stopBefore anything goes out, Miss Blue tells you how the list divides, how long the slow half takes, and how many people have already asked not to hear from you.

People you already talk to get it now. People you have never messaged are spread out, because a line that texts hundreds of strangers in an hour is a line that gets flagged.
Anybody who asked to stop, anybody blocked and anybody unreachable is removed before the first message goes out, and the count tells you how many that was.
Sent, skipped, replied and opted out, per announcement. Delivery is table stakes; what you want to know is how many people answered.
The list is turned into one conversation per person, and then worked through at a speed the line can carry.
One per line or separated by commas. Invalid numbers are flagged rather than silently dropped.
How many go now, how many are paced, how many are skipped because they asked to stop.
Now, or at a date and time in the zone you pick.
Sent, skipped, replied and opted out, per announcement — and every reply in the shared inbox.
A project’s first announcement is reviewed by somebody here before it sends. It is the one thing standing between a shared pool of Apple IDs and one customer’s bad idea. After the first is approved, the rest go straight out.
No. Each person receives an ordinary one-to-one message from your line and cannot see anybody else on the list. Their reply opens a normal conversation in your shared inbox.
As fast as is safe. People you already have a two-way conversation with go out at ordinary speed. People you have never messaged are first contacts, capped at 50 per line per 24 hours and spaced about five minutes apart (at most eight an hour), so a list of 500 strangers takes days rather than minutes. The screen tells you how many days before you send.
Because Apple watches for numbers that behave like broadcast channels, and a flagged Apple ID takes the line down for everybody using it. Pacing is how a business line keeps working.
They are removed before the send starts. Opt-outs, blocks and unreachable numbers are all counted and skipped, and the count is shown to you rather than quietly absorbed.
Yes. {{contact.name}} fills in from your contacts, and {{contact.name|"there"}} gives you a fallback for the ones you do not have a name for. An unresolved variable renders as nothing, never as its own source text.
Yes. Stopping an announcement means nobody else receives it. What has already arrived has arrived, and the stats keep saying so.
Only a project's first one. After it is approved, that project's announcements go straight out. If it is refused you get a written reason saying what to change.
Yes. Pick a date, a time and a time zone, and it starts sending then — with every check run at that moment rather than when you wrote it.
No. Messages are unlimited on a Miss Blue plan. The limit is on how many new people one line reaches per day, not on how much you say to them.
